The D 451 FU-E RTR o.T. Thermostat Receiver compares the room temperature and local setpoint adjustment sent by the K5744 wall temperature sensor transmitter with the selected value in the receiver. For lower values the relay is turned on, for higher values off. The changeover relay output can be used directly for controlling thermal on-off valves 230 V AC. The heating can be switched off through window monitoring with up to 10 K5421 window contact transmitters, and a modular switch transmitter can be employed to remotely select a lower energy saving setpoint. The receiver is designed to be installed into a flush mounted installation box.
The wireless sensor transmits every 1.6 minutes (if the room temperature changes by more than 0,8K since the last transmission) and every 16 minutes otherwise.
The range between the transmitter and receiver (or repeater) in a typical house is about 30m (line-of-sight) and 100m in open spaces. The actual transmission range depends on the materials used in the building and nearby interference sources (See the product install guide). Range can be increased by the use of the Echo K5440R Repeater.
